The reason behind the fundraiser
Stacey’s story
Why I’m Raising Money
I’ve been living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) for the past three years, and it has completely changed mine and my family’s world and the way I live my daily life.
FND can affect people in many different ways, and living with it can be incredibly challenging. One of the hardest parts is that there is still so much misunderstanding and a lack of awareness about what FND actually is and how much it can impact someone’s everyday life.
I decided to start this fundraiser because I want to help change that.
More and more people are being diagnosed with FND, yet many people have never heard of it or don’t understand what those living with it can experience. I want to use this fundraiser to raise awareness, encourage understanding and help shine a light on the reality of living with FND.
My hope is that by sharing my own experience and raising funds for awareness and support, we can help more people understand that FND is real, it can be life-changing, and those living with it deserve to be heard, understood and supported.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can help make a difference. Even simply sharing this fundraiser can help spread awareness and reach someone who may be affected by FND themselves.
Together, we can raise awareness, support others living with FND and help people feel less alone.
Stronger Together. 🧡
