Why it feels different
Support can be serious, silly, practical or simply good company. Together as One makes room for every version of the day.
Talk with people who understand fluctuating symptoms, difficult days and the strange reality of living alongside FND.
Hobbies, pets, music, games, jokes, family life and everyday chat matter too. You are always more than a diagnosis.
Relevant conversations link back to trusted FND Connect guides, tools and support resources when they may help.
New to Discord?
Together as One is typed peer support. The long list on the left looks like a game server. It is not. Start Here is enough until you feel ready for more.
Read the rules, tap who you are, and say hello if you want. Extra rooms appear from those buttons. You can ignore the rest of the list.
FND Connect staff have a pink name next to every message. On a computer they also sit in a Staff group on the right. There is a Who is staff? button if you are unsure.
Most people just type. There is a Community Lounge and a Quiet Check-In if you ever want to listen in. You never have to turn a microphone on.
Start with a few rooms. One community.
Move between FND support, quiet company, practical resources and the interests that make you, you. You do not have to visit every room.
Join in your own way
You can say hello straight away, or take your time and read quietly until the space feels familiar.
Follow the Together as One link to Discord.
If you are new to Discord, it only takes a few minutes. Discord will ask a couple of short questions, such as whether you live with FND or care for someone.
Stay in Start Here until it feels familiar. Introduce yourself when you are ready. There is no pressure to share medical details, or to post at all.
Warm company. Clear boundaries.
Discord is not emergency care, diagnosis or medical advice. If symptoms are new, sudden, severe or unlike your usual FND pattern, seek urgent medical help.
