Amy’s story
Hi everyone, my name is Amy, and I’m proud to be the Welsh Ambassador for FND Connect. In 2027, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) I’m asking for your support. 💜
But this challenge is about so much more than climbing a mountain. It’s personal to me.
FND has affected my life for over two years. I know that living with this condition is not always easy, and I want to help raise awareness of a condition that is often misunderstood.
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) can turn everyday activities into challenges and affect people in ways that others cannot always see. It can be an isolating journey, especially when people don’t understand what you’re going through.
That is one of the reasons this challenge means so much to me. 💜
As the Welsh Ambassador for FND Connect, I want to use my voice to help others understand FND, support those living with it, and remind everyone in our community that they are not alone.
🏔️ WHY I’M TAKING ON SNOWDON
Every step I take with the FND Connect Army will help raise awareness and support the work of FND Connect. This is my opportunity to turn my own experience into something positive and help make a difference to others who are facing their own FND journey.
✨ PLEASE CONSIDER SPONSORING ME✨
Every donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. Your support will help us raise vital funds and bring more understanding, awareness and support to the FND community.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this post can make a huge difference too. The more people who understand FND, the better.
🙏 Please support me, Amy, your Welsh Ambassador for FND Connect, as I take on Snowdon 2027 with the FND Connect Army.
This is personal. This is for our community. This is for everyone living with FND who deserves to be seen, heard and understood.
Over two years of living with FND has made this cause close to my heart. Now, I want to help make a difference, one step at a time. 💜🏔️
Thank you to everyone who supports me and stands alongside the FND community. It truly means more than words can say.
With love and gratitude,
Amy
